Recycled plastic grip block

Recycled plastic grip block

Recycled plastic grip block from KLP® is an innovative safety feature on quay sides supplementing other life-saving items such as lifebuoys. Quayside walls are often too high to hang onto if people fall into a harbour, especially for children. The top and underside of a KLP® plastic grip block are profiled to create a gripping edge with drain off points to enable accumulated water to run off.

Why choose eco-friendly KLP® recycled plastic grip block:

  • Made from recycled materials and are recyclable
  • High quality, proven construction materials (products have a 20 year engineering pedigree)
  • KLP® can easily be sawn, drilled, planed, nailed, stapled and screwed
  • Low maintenance - no chemical maintenance treatments are required and the plastic planks are simply washed down when dirty
  • As versatile as wood but much more durable
  • UV, water, weather, insect, splinter, rot, chip and crack resistant
  • Environmentally friendly as they do not leach harmful substances
  • Vandal, algae and chemical resistant
  • Excellent value for money, outlasting wood by many years
