Green play

Case Studies

The Government would like every school to be a sustainable school by 2020. Schools and nurseries have a special role to play in preparing children for a brighter future as they are ideally positioned to be models of good practice.

By making a decisive move towards sustainable development, schools and nurseries demonstrate the link between caring for children and preserving the environment for their future.

Case studies in sustainable play

Green Scheme is proud to promote innovative, environmentally-friendly solutions wherever possible. As we use a significant amount of recycled and recyclable materials, your new playspace could contribute to your green credentials, for example, helping you to achieve the ‘Eco-Schools’ standard.

We are committed to raising environmental awareness and responsible stewardship. We offer free recycling presentations to pupils to show how waste products have been transformed into something useful in their new playground. We’re not perfect but we are trying.
